Solved Lost views

Hi Guys and gals

After a little help. Checked my channel yesterday and was nearing 180,000 views. Checked it now and it's at 157,004. Having added up all my views I should be on 179,005. Anyone any ideas how or why this has happened. Or is it more likely YouTube is having a moment and not showing me correct information.

Could be a number of things:

YouTube could just have a display / analytical error

You may have unlisted or private videos, these views do not get added to the total and are subtracted when made private / unlisted.

YouTube may think they are illegitimate views and have removed them from the total (whether real or not, YouTube can sometimes delete real views too).

Something to think about. Im inclined to think that YouTube is a bit messed up. I don't have any private or unlisted videos.
