I've been looking into cameras more specially DSLRs. I wanted to know if anyone knows what's a good camera to use mainly for vlogging but also for short films.

I personally use the Canon Powershot SX60 bridge camera for my recordings.
It's cheaper than a DSLR and works magnificently.
16.1 megapixels.
65x optical zoom (a gimmick more than anything)
1080p60 capabilities
Hot shoe for external mount.
Microphone input for external mics that hook to said hot shoe
NFC
Wi-Fi
and most importantly.
Fully articulating screen.
It works magnificently for my uses, and only lags behind in the F-Stop, so you won't get those interesting blurry backgrounds that many big YouTubers have.
I purchased it for $507.09 CAD on Amazon, that'd be about $0.02 US and $1,000,000 AUD.
