So I have decided it is probably better for myself to be away from and MCN while being my size. I do not feel like I am gaining anything from Freedom as I do not use music and there are no other benefits that I would consider using (except Tubebuddy) so I am leaving Freedom.

Problem I have is that I have heard that Freedom are known to copyright strike and content ID match your videos upon leaving which would be a nasty move for them to make. Is there any way to ensure this does not happen to me?

I know people might not think this is real or plausible, but I once used Position music on a video and after I had finally got the content ID removed from the automatic finders, I then woke up the next morning to see Freedom had content ID matched the video. I obviously removed the video as this really wound me up, but has left me really sour and worried since.

I am growing at a good pace for my size and age of channel and I don't want an MCN dragging me back whilst taking 40 percent of my already next to nothing earnings.

Too bad you're leaving... I am not sure about your Copyright issue, but I should contact the Freedom Helpdesk, because they know what to do...

That's okay that you're leaving freedom. People tend to leave at some point when the network isn't for them. I don't know so much about the content ID matching, but that might have to do with the music in general.
