Buzz words wont unfortunalty do this monumental task any justice. If you want to make your channel successful then its important to understand that it wont happen over night.
Think about ways to get extra coverage. Post links to your videos on appropriate sites and forums, start a blog and advertise that too, make good use of social media, watch videos online on how to increase views (you might learn something). be consistent and upload regularly the same content your fans look to you to find, be humble, dont be afraid to work hard, collaborate when possible (if a colab gets you 1 sub then its worthwhile), make sure your channel art and thumbnail graphics are effective and appealing (post in this forum for some good critique) and be aware that if you want to be a success then your going to have to put in the hours to do so.

Above all be aware of the content you are pushing. Is it contributing or is it just existing. By that i mean that if its just another video in the long line of videos that are just the same then you will never make it. Make content that is new and original, content that people are actively searching for or find interesting.
An example of this in gaming would be to not rely on lets plays but also add in tips/hints and fun content that they cant find anywhere else or for a music channel you would upload original scores and attractive music videos etc...

Keep all those things in mind and you MIGHT get a foot in the door... then again you might not.

I do it because its my hobby and i enjoy it. Not to be popular. If that happens then great but im not holding my breath[DOUBLEPOST=1449742196][/DOUBLEPOST]https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCjgTREWyJ9NzVRFsRu11lbw

This is your channel correct?

First i would take a look at your channel art. It's a little thrown together and the typeface is dull as well as the use of that ugly blue. Also add features to your channels home page.

take a look at my home page and you can see the potential for showcases etc...

If you "want to make it big" then you have to do more than destiny and COD lets plays as they are done so often its crazy. over 90% of cod videos uploaded dont get over 10 views... just saying (that fact was 100% true... promise)
