Hurricane Patricia was reportedly the strongest storm to ever be recorded on the planet. Officially rated a 8.3 on the dvorak scale that only goes up to 8! Along with that, this storm also has winds in EXCESS in 200mph (321.8 kmh). As of right now, there are no reported deaths in mexico from when Patricia hit. Was this because of the early evacuation, or the natural terrain sapping the power from the storm before it could take any lives? Did Mexico prepare properly for Patricia? Were there some things that they could have prepared for more effectively? What is your opinion on the situation?
