Tapatalk is a mobile/tablet app (available on both iOS and Android) that makes viewing and posting on the forums easier with unlimited Photo and Video sharing and instant push notifications.
This thread will explain Tapatalk to you and help you get the most out of it. Click any of the Sections below to jump to it.

This is a WIP, I just find it easier to write here than writing BBCode in word, it's not finished yet ty

Installing Tapatalk

First, download the App. You can get it for Android or iOS.

Upon launching the app for the first time you will be presented with the option to log into an existing Tapatalk account or to create a new one. You can skip account creation by pressing "Skip" in the top right corner of the screen. You can still create a Tapatalk account later on.

Now you will find yourself on a screen with this on top:

Tap on the four squares on top to access the List of Groups.

Tap on "Add More" and enter Freedom Forums. You should find them in the search results.

Should you have trouble finding this you can alternatively use this link.

On the Forum Page, click Follow. This will allow you to find the Freedom! Forums easier in the future.

Logging in
You can now read the Forums but you will likely want to interact with others through the app as well. After having followed the Forum you will get the options to Log into your existing account or to Register a new account.

Enter your account details (for this website!) and confirm. If you've entered everything correctly you can now start using the Freedom! Forums through Tapatalk!

You have now set up Tapatalk to use it with the Freedom! Forums. Next up, we will show you how to navigate the Freedom! Forums using Tapatalk!

Using Tapatalk

Now that you have successfully installed Tapatalk and set it up, here are some Tips about navigating the App and using it.

Using the
Groups Menu you can access the Freedom! Forums.
The Forum View will start you off on the Homepage, which can be used to get a quick overview on what is going on around the Forums. You have the Chatroom, Notifications, Forum List and Recent Posts all on one screen here.

Going to the Forum List View you have a list of Subforums sorted by categories.
If you want to start a new thread just select a subforum from here and press this button:

You will be asked for a thread prefix to describe your thread which you can learn more about here.

Further in the Discussions Section you will find new Threads and Posts sorted by the following:
- Timeline: The most recent Posts
- Unread: Items you have not yet viewed
- Subscribed: Replies to Threads you have Subscribed to (by default after you have replied to others' threads and your own)
- Participated: Replies to Threads you have replied to previously

Your
Messages will show direct Messages you have received from other members.

The
Bell shows your notifications. They include things like replies to your threads and Likes.

When viewing a thread you can reply to it using the blue button at the bottom right of your screen.

Setting a signature

Tapatalk allows for you to create a signature which is displayed after every post you create using Tapatalk. By default it looks like this:
Sent from my phone using Tapatalk
Don't worry though, you can change that! Here's how!

In Tapatalk, select the Person Icon, scroll down and choose "Settings". Choose "Signature".
There select "Freedom! Forums". Here you will be able to toggle the signature being displayed and edit it by tapping on the second field which will show your current signature.
In the shown window you can change the signature, don't forget to save it with the "OK" button afterwards.

Note:
Your Tapatalk Signature will be added after your message as part of the message, updating it in Tapatalk will not update previous posts. If you wish to have that functionality you can set a signature on the website at https://freedom.community.tm/account/signature.

Please ensure your signatures comply with the Forum Rules.

Notifications

By default, Tapatalk sends you a lot of notifications. They include new threads in watched sections over trending threads around the Forums to direct messages. If you're an active user your phone will likely make a lot of noise with this enabled. Here's how you change that:

Navigate to User > Settings > Push Notifications. On this page you can enable/disable notifications for certain events or completely disable them. Through this page you can also set silent times to pause notifications for specific times of the day to let you sleep in quiet.
