How to get more Subscribers?

He's right on the money with that! Also treat it as a professional environment and communicate a lot! You're not trying to sell your channel, you're trying to get them interested in you. Quality is also very important. Get all of this stuff down and try not to focus on the numbers. Put effort into the subscribers you already have and communicate with viewers and more will come
You need to invest in your equipment more. When you have a decent set-up, having an idea that's unique will work out swell, but that's easier said than done.
First thing is first, you need to make youtube videos because you enjoy it not for numbers. I make youtube videos because I know my friends and the subscribers I have (however few there are) like what I do. You also need to make your channel appealing i.e. banner, good looking thumbnails, nice profile picture, etc. Your channel will gain in popularity it isn't something that is done quickly, it happens over time.

First, have equipment that does not limit your content but, instead, inspires you to create anything you want. Next, Steer away from the norm and create original content. From there on, there's no sure fire way to become big, just keep making content you enjoy and, even if you don't get big, you'll still be having fun.
In my opinion interact with the subscribers, enjoy yourself and don't try to emulate another person be yourself, youtube is a ton more enjoyable if you are being yourself and interacting with the subscribers, and more often than not if you follow those directions you get popular with your viewers!
It's a hard one when your starting out or a small channel.

5# If someone leaves a comment you should always respond.

You have to put time and effort in your work and people will come, I prepared my youtube channel for 2 months prior to uploading my first video making my intro, banner, outro, profile picture, working on thumbnails, how I wanted everything to look, making a twitter account and facebook account for my page. It's alot of work but worth it in the end.

- If possible good equipment, as good quality attracts.
- Be charismatic.
- Be active with your watchers.
And more, are all good tips for anyone and what I usually tell my watchers that want to start with a Youtube channel. : ) Another important thing is being patient, you wont get thousands of subs within a week. Just enjoy your work and it will slowly grow. *-*
