How actually youtube pays

Hello,
i've been on youtube for quite some time and right now i have 2 english channels one with 10k subs and another with 2k and they both make around 0.5$ per 1k view (600k view in total). one is for gaming and other is for high quality videos 1 per month.
I always ask other youtubers how much they make and i've heard around that others make on avarage around 1 to 1,25 to all the way up to 2$ per 1k view and sometimes even more, but never less than 1$...now my questions are:
Is the revenue that i see on youtube analytics affected in any way by the network im with (freedom)? would i see the same exact amount even if i was with another network? does freedom have any controll over the ads, or it just takes its cut and that's it?

i would also like to read some of your stats and figures just to compare, i want to see a bit more clear in this situation, because it's almost 1k$ a month difference.

THANK YOU!

One brilliant way of making money from doing YouTube videos providing that you do it probably is Patreon, people make thousands on that alone every month so if you have 10k subscribers then I'm guessing at least some of them enjoy watching enough to donate a little bit to you. If you want more information about Patreon then feel free to ask.

You will see the same cpm no matter what network you join, the only thing that will change depending on the network is revenue share, or revenue cap. For gaming channels under $1 is quite common also channels that are from other countries usually get paid less as their viewers aren't going to get US ads which generally pay more.

Freedom pays 60% up to 95% revenue share depending on the channel's views per month and quality of the channel.
