First of all can I just say this should really be a place to introduce yourself to the wider community - to outline what your channel is about and to tell us a little more about yourself - you might find the introduction template helpful in doing that.
Secondly I'm sorry to hear that you don't think Freedom has worked much have you utilised all the tools that Freedom provides such as the sponsorships / free music and the game giveaways? Also don't forget that the Freedom forum is also a great way to meet other users and can lead to collaborations if you open to them. I would definitely say that Freedom helps you grow though it is ultimately down to you as the content creator to make that happen
