help with channel

so i have a gaming channel and i haven't done as much as i wanted when i initially started and i feel stuck not sure what to do, i dont upload nearly often enough and when i do its hard to get views obviously, but i wonder if anyone actually likes what im uploading and if i should just scrap it and try something else as now its commentary and gameplay but im not sure what to say half the time so i feel like its boring

i want to do something just not sure how to go from here

I was in the same position as you not long ago!

What I did, is I scrapped series completely. If you don't upload that much, series are a really bad idea.

If your viewer knows that you don't upload that much, they aren't going to start watching a series.

So what I did is I scrapped series and now I do shorter, well-edited individual videos having fun in video games.

well gaming videos are a tough market anyway. there's so many people out there posting them and even more doing the exact same game. if you wanna stick to gaming videos, try to branch out from the games everyone else is playing even though they're popular. Unless you're well known you probably will get overlooked. Try playing indie games or even older games that everyone knows but that aren't as popular now.

well i know its hard with gaming vids, i did think of not doing gameplay so much and more gaming news/reviews
as stuff like lets play have loads doing it, just trying to do something in my free time

I also mainly do gaming as well. Mainly because i work with two other channels working on abridged kind of stuff. So i see no point of doing that stuff on my channel, but i am stuck in a rut as well.

Stay motivated! if you enjoy making gaming videos, then make them. If not try something else no matter what you do you will have a small channel in the beginning, so you might as well do something that makes you happy!!

Stay consistent! If you keep posting 2 or 3 videos a week, you will start seeing those subscribers coming back. Also, enjoy what you are doing! If you aren't enjoying it, then your viewers won't enjoy it.

Oh my gosh! I have no idea how people can do that! I can barely find a day to make the video, edit the video, and then upload it in all the same day XD
