I know the google cardboard had been out for a long time now but i was thinking about getting one and if any one acctally has any opinions on it.

If you dont know what the google cardboard is its a vr (virtual reality) headset headset made from cardboard its costs around £10 on amazon because its so bad quilty considering its cardboard but for what it is and how much it cost it looks good and i really want to use a vr headset so badly.

I have a few of them because i was planning on giving them away. They are pretty cool but like you say, its not an occulus, but you can watch 360 videos and 3d videos with it on youtube; or use it with vr apps on your phone as well

Its a good cheap way of demoing the capabilities of vr. It even uses your phones gadgets to track your head movement so you can look around. I think most people get the most surprised by that aspect of it...

It would be really cool if they used the camera on your phone to do augmented reality vr... that would be crazy
