Sad news guys, Youtube video editor, and photo slideshow is being canned.
So for all of you that are unaware about Youtube video editor, You can use Video Editor tools to put together clips to create new videos and publish them to YouTube with one click. All of your uploads are added automatically to the Video Editor. You can access the Video Editor at YouTube
On the 20th of July. 2017 Marissa - The Community Manager released a message saying "We wanted to let you know that the Video Editor (youtube.com/editor) and Photo slideshows will go away on September 20th, 2017. We’ve seen the limited use of these features, so we’re retiring them to focus our efforts on building new tools and improving on other existing features. You’ll have two months to finalize any video projects before we turn off the features completely. After that, you will no longer have access to projects in the Video Editor, but any videos already published with the Video Editor will not be affected."
So with the Youtube editor going away here is what's staying, according to Marissa - The Community Manager:
"We are keeping the Enhancements feature in Video Manager. With Enhancements, you can continue to enhance your uploaded videos with edits such as trimming, blurring, and filters. Other things that are NOT going away:

- The tool specifically at the destination youtube.com/editor (raw video clip editing)
- The Photo slideshow tool
