Hey guys is there anyone that has FCPX that knows how to do a quick flickering kind of effect? And also a rewind? I want to film a lookbook with maybe some 360 shots and have seen this stuff on other channels but don't know how to do it! I'm struggling to find what I'm looking for on the youtube tutes. Any other cool transitions or effects please teach me!

Hi,
I'm an experienced Final Cut Pro X user and I use it for all my projects.

For the flicker. If you want the whole screen to flicker with black then you simply key frame the opacity of the video clips at a very fast rate. If you want a white background when you flicker then add a white underlay and simply do as I said above.

For a rewind. Simply use the speed ramps feature with the rewind function on a duplicated clip.

If you would like more info and a step by step guidance just ask. :)

Thank you! Found the rewind function now. It was there all along! You've saved me watching a lot of irrelevant final cut pro tutorials, thank you so much!!
