Exploit Finding! report or stay quiet?

Ok so I found this exploit in The Forest last night and I'm not sure of the developers awareness.
From a developers point of view I can't help but let them know everything about it as the game is still in alpha and if it was my game I would hope others would let me know so that said game could be played the way I intended.

What would you have done? Would anyone keep it to themselves to get an advantage? I know a lot of people would!

I'd let them know, just for the fact that as soon as everyone starts drawing attention to it, it will become an exploit rather than just a little bug. It can be tedious for the developers to fix all of these things, so the sooner you draw it to their attention, the better. Plus, that gets you on the developers good side!
