What would everyones best opinion on equipment be. Im already pretty confident with what I have and what I'm going to get for recording and editing programs. But I have very few inputs or ideas on what brands I should be looking at to get for the actual recording and gameplay parts of the videos. Keyboard, Mice, Headset, Mic et cetera... I'm just not too sure on what I should put all my money on

I can help with this a bit

Keyboard - Presuming you'll be using it alot you'll want something sturdy and mechanical I recommend a Gigabyte Osmium or a Corsair K series keyboard. Any keyboard from a reputable brand will do the trick.

Mice - Playing MMOs? Razer Naga. Playing any other game besides MMOs? The SteelSeries Rival mouses are pretty cool.

Headset (Headphones) - You should buy your microphone separately from your microphone, it'll be overall better in the long run. The newer AKG K series headphones are pretty nice. If not them maybe go for some Sennheiser headphones.

Microphone - Low Budget:
48V Phantom Power
XLR Cables
Any cheap Condenser Microphone will do. (BM-800 is a good one I hear, look up some reviews)

Higher Budget:
For the lazy person, buy a yeti. They're good but not worth the money.
If not then once again buy a 48V Phantom Power Supply
XLR Cables
And a more expensive condenser microphone such as the Audio Technica AT2020 (not the USB version), a Auna microphone or a Behringer microphone!

That's all the help I can give, good luck on buying your equipment

Thank you! This gives me a reference I can keep looking back upon! Awesome!

Don't forget to mention he'll need a preamp like a mixer to get xlr into his pc. Most mixers will have phantom power too. A cheaper option for xlr to usb is the blue icicle.
