I think you are better off ignoring that sort of thing, if you call them out for it you may end up getting a whole lot of dislikes instead. It also could be possible that they did watch it, just the YouTube views hadn't updated yet.

You're right, it may have been a better idea to take the high road on this one but I decided to take the low road. :p

I uploaded a video and 15 minutes later I get the comment you see it the title. The video had zero views so how did they know it was cool?? I called him/her out for probably being a spammer in the comments. :p

Even though it's obviously a spammer I never like to call them out on it since they aren't exactly doing anything wrong.

As long as they aren't doing any blatant self promotion I usually just tell them thanks and get on with my day because calling out a comment like that might look bad to regular viewers who aren't aware of people who do that and it could scare them off if you appear to be hostile towards "nice" comments.


I will admit it always does bother me when they lie though. I see that a lot when they say they liked it but they really didn't XD
