Solved Connecting forum to Freedom Dashboard.

Hey all! My names Wolf, surprising my first post would be a question. So basically the issue is I cannot link my forum acc. to my regular freedom partnered acc./YouTube. I signed in with my Google+ and never gotten an email from the Forums saying Request a Password.

I'm not sure if this Request a Password takes time to send to my email or what. I am questioning this not because I am inpatient, but because I didn't even get a confirmation on the forum page saying something like (Hey Wolf, you have been added on the forums. Click this link to get verified, ETC.) So I am asking around to see if anyone knows why this isn't working or what.

I went through to check around to see if I used the correct email, and it is the correct email I was meant to use. I used my originally used email.

If there is anyway of solving this that would be great! Thanks for the help! Catch you later!

Mayby try sign out and sign back in or make a new account I know this isn't the best info but it's the best I can think of right now tell me if it works otherwise I don't know

Its great info but I've done the sign out sign back in thing, by didn't work. The other suggestion to make a new account is that I don't want to because the email I used is the email I use for most forums / or things like that. Hope you get what I mean.

Yeah I understand I do that with my emails account too I will keep thinking of a way to fix this but for now I'm not sure sorry

Like anything, Freedom is a waiting process mine did the same thing, and I just waited a couple days and it worked again.Follow the steps these might help you.

1. Sign in/out of all your google accounts
2. WAIT (If it doesn't work within a week contact freedom support)
3. If Google + fails (like normal ) Just make a forum account using a email and password, and link it that way

Yeah I think if you don't get an email in a couple of days contact freedom support and see if you can sought out the problem

Hi @Wolf Does YouTube,

Members who registered for the forums with their Google+ or other social network profiles will need to do an additional step before linking their forum account to their dashboard. See the following to learn more: How do I connect my Forum Account to my Dashboard (If using Google+)?

Essentially, you will need to sign out of your forum account and request a new password by using the "Forgot your password?" button.
