Solved Channel url is old one after changing it

I have recently changed my YouTube channel url but it is still appearing as the old one in the search bar, can someone help?

So you put in your custom url, but when you enter it replaces it with that? That's normal. Everyone else can use your custom url and still be linked to you channel.

So the only person it doesn't change for is me?

It is because both URL types are active at same time. Which means that the custom URL just direct to the original URL
