Audacity best effects to improve voice from cheap Mic(Help)

Hello,
I currently use audacity to better my voice a bit, but I don't seem to find a good video in my case. when I don't use effects, my mic sounds like an old TV. I tried many ways around to make my voice better but it results not what I expected. Can someone help me find a good way to really improve my voice without sounding like an old TV? When you record, dont speak for 5 seconds. Then, once you are done recording your audio, highlight the 5 seconds of no audio and then click effect, click noise reduction, and then click get noise profile. Then press ctrl+a and all your audio should be highlighted. Then go to effect, and click noise removal then click ok.
