cough, cough.... was, Ryzen has levelled the playing field in the CPU market. also a I7 6700 is a bit over the OP's budget.

Honestly I'd wait a bit for the new Ryzen 5 Chips to come out (April 11th ish) before deciding on what to go with as most of them will fit your budget and may offer better performance and all of them can be overclocked with the right motherboard. yea you may need a new motherboard to go with it...

Just had a better idea for the "Credits per CRIB download [Limit 1 per user]" suggestion I made a while back, how about having the paid resources be in forum credits and let people charge small amounts for their resources to be used.

Depends what kind of PC your looking for, the one generated isn't that bad as a server build really. If your wanting to build your own PC then just take the tome to assemble the parts list yourself rather than trying to google it :)

So as of this thread I have 1,000 forum credits, it did happen a little faster than it wouldn't thanks to being Member of the Month & getting an extra 100 credits just for it :) This makes me the 8th person to hold over 1,000 from what I can tell. Not bad :)
