Name: Justin
Alias: Jack Wolfe
Goal: To one day be a successful YouTube gamer and Game Designer.
Story: As I was growing in my early years, my family had exposed me to many different activities (mainly sports). I took a liking to drawing really early on and I ended up with a fascination for anime after seeing InuYasha (my first anime).
Some time later, not before I obtained a gaming console, my baby sister was to be born. I was happy that I would be able to not be the youngest anymore and that I would have a sister to look after and play with unlike my brothers would do later in my early life. I would always draw girls in my pictures because I wondered what my sister would look like. She ended up being a stillborn, so I never got to experience what it would be like having a younger sister. To this day I still mostly draw girls as a reminder of the times I wondered about what my sister would be like, and I have progressed further as an artist because of all the time and effort I put into those drawings.
We obtained a PS2 and a computer with Windows 98 on it at some point, as well as dial-up internet (Ew. Disgusting, right?). My brothers, being the ones that loved sports, taught me to play sports games on the PS2. I did not object because basketball and football games were all we had, and I was living in a poor part of town because my mom is a single parent and, at the time, could not afford to move me and my two brothers to anywhere else. So I continued to hone my art skills with a pencil and eventually stumbled upon Kingdom Hearts, which would be my first RPG (followed by Final Fantasy 10).
I ended up loving Kingdom Hearts and other RPGs after that. My most favorite were the ones with bows, arrows, and assassins. They remain my favorite type of game to this day, but I have also taken a liking to shooters as well.
CoD: Black Ops was the first game wherein I spoke with other people online. Being that I was a severely shy kid when I was younger, and my family would always be gone, leaving me alone by myself, I took to talking to people in games to cope with the lack of communication within my family. The friends I made while gaming provided the family-like community that I needed when I was younger, and I'd hope that one day I can do the same for someone else.
Now my goals are to make it as a YouTuber with the community that I grew up with and hopefully provide them with games that entice them as much as my old and news ones do to myself.
Thank you for taking the time to read the really shortened version of my life in gaming.
