I did not find it difficult at all, it is grindy like any MMO. The combat is more action oriented, Monster-hunter esque, timing and movement are important. I didnt get too far into it because life got in the way (shool/work). What drew me to it is the over the top character and gear designs.

Star Wars the old Republic is a great one that has improved a lot since release and has a lot of players. TERA is another great one. Wow being free up to lvl 80 now is pretty much WIN though.
