YouTube YouTube is Removing G+ integration on YouTube!

Essenitanlly this means G+ will no longer be required, and that we won't have to worry about it when dealing with YouTube! What do you feel about this change? Let us know!

I just hope hope HOPE comments will still be the same with having no character limit, otherwise I will have to make multiple comments that way since I like to comment on multiple parts of a video that I liked

I guess it's good since I no longer have to set my avatar or name on YT from google +. In fact, it does make things a lot easier.

Google+ is one of the most under utilized Social Media platforms. Although I find it incredibly useful, I'll continue to use it. I actually loved the integration between the two platforms. Hopefully they keep the parts that are good when they make the change. Regardless, I'll still use Google+ with my YouTube channels.

I sure hope so!! I also hate when I click on someone's name on the notifications and it takes me to their google+ profile instead of youtube :c

I really dislike that as well! Maybe now when I click on someone it'll actually take me to their YouTube instead!

The thing I am wondering about is if they'll offer optional Google+ integration. If they do that, then I hope I can keep my channels integrated together between the two platforms.

I think this is a good thing. Things shouldn't be imposed on people. It's better if it's an option.

Google+ made things such an unnecessary hassle on Youtube. I remember using YouTube a few years back when everything was a lot simpler. I wonder how this'll change the channel designs, if at all, as well as the comments and profile management.

I really don't like Google+ at all xD I'm honestly glad they're removing it! It's so stupid that you need Google+ to Upload a video and even comment! x) That's just stupid

Personally I think it's good. Never liked Google+. The only thing I'm concerned about is will Youtube banner templates change or are they keeping the same designs?

It kind of has a negative impact on anyone that uses Google+ for marketing and promoting their content.

That's something it seems to be a consistency among a lot of YouTubers by ignoring a tool that was right in front of them. A powerful one at that. Hopefully there isn't some huge movement of profile deletions since that would damage or kill people's Google+ Circles that they've worked on building over time.

I never liked Google+, but it did help generate traffic quite well by having people share the videos, so it'd be nice for it to remain as an option~

i find having google+ was useful in login and protect. but on other hand. i end up giving up my youtube host name. can we edit user name soon G+ is gone?
