It may sound cliche but it's true, you have to stay consistent, YouTube is a grind. Continue to find ways to improve your videos, from thumbnails to the descriptions of your videos. And continue to promote your channel with social media (Facebook groups, Twitter, etc) Good luck in the future!

Now, I'm terrible with having a uploading schedule, due to work/school/real life. But last summer when I uploaded once a week, and had that schedule, my channel grew faster than just uploading whenever. Just stay consistent and remember, quality over quantity.

Giveaways aren't worth it in my opinion if you are a small channel. People would quickly subscribe for a chance to win, but once they find out they lose, they may stick around but I could see a lot of people becoming uninterested and unsubscribing. But that's just my opinion.

YouTube is a grind, just keep improving your videos and stay positive. Just got to stay consistent. :) Keywords and descriptions help out for sure.
